As Centrepoint Church kicks off a new season and a new semester in a new venue space, we wanted to pause and remind ourselves why we do what we do - and the answer is to be found in something called the gospel.
Simply put, the gospel is the story of who God is and what He has done for us through Jesus - and it's a story that changes everything!
One of the most famous expressions of this story is through a parable Jesus told, commonly known as 'The Prodigal Son.' The word 'prodigal' actually means 'wastefully or recklessly extravagant' - discover how the real prodigal in this famous parable is God Himself, who through Jesus has loved us with a reckless extravagance!
Love cost Jesus everything - and love meant He paid that price gladly...
