Dwelling Place

April 7, 2019 Speaker: Gordon Wright Series: One Off Messages

Topic: Sunday Gathering Passage: Genesis 3:8–3:8, Exodus 25:8–25:8, Exodus 29:45–29:46, John 1:1–1:14, Matthew 27:50–27:51, 2 Corinthians 6:16–6:16, Ephesians 2:22–2:22, Revelation 21:3–21:4

Perhaps you have an idea of what Jesus has saved us from - our sin, its penalty and power, shame, brokenness, etc.  But what has he saved us for?

In this message, we explore the scriptures through the lens of one key idea: that God's primary action in history is creating and redeeming a people among who he can dwell.

From Genesis to Revelation, we see this desire continually expressed, culminating in the coming of Jesus, the Word made flesh, who dwells among us, and consummated in the restoration of all things in the New Jerusalem!

Discover how God's desire is not for us to do things for him, or get things from him, but to simply be with him!
